Golden pale straw. White peach, juicy Pakenham pears, granny smith apples and spice on the nose.  The palate starts lean and tight with tastes of lemon/grapefruit opening to more generous melon with vanilla undertones. It has a lemon purity to the fruit with a rind like textural grip providing a nice firm structure and integrating nicely with the oak. Fine chalky finish. As you would expect in high quality Chardonnay, there is some lovely fruit weight that fills the mouth with flavours that linger nice and long, carried by some delicate natural acidity.
